A small, supple woodland sprite that has the consistency and appearance of beef. These bois are easily startled and may emit a ruddy liquid from their nether regions when particularly stressed. Natives used to harvest them, and there are accounts of their flavor being fruity, with hints of mutton. After early English settlers arrived in America, the species was over hunted and eventually the population dwindled into extinction.
