Banhauser

A Banhauser is also known as a "garbage guts" -- a person who will eat, well, anything.
A guy I know puts grapefruit juice as a topping on ice cream. I think he is the original Banhauser, because it so revolted his gf she banned him from the house
No reason not to go all-out Banhauser and put Maple Syrup on the burritos.

You ate WHAT ON A PIZZA! You total Banhauser!

Bauhaus as an architectural movement dating back to the 1910s which is in no way related to Gothic architecture, therefore it is plain incorrect to call "Bauhaus" (the architecture, not the band) a type of Gothic architecture.

Bauhaus the architecture emphasised no frills, a minimalist type of design. The band Bauhaus, which was into frills and costumes and details, probably used the name of the movement in an ironic fashion - this has been the topic of debate, but i'm confident that Peter Murphy ISN'T stupid and the name is an ironic statement!
"Of, relating to, or characteristic of a 20th-century school of design, the aesthetic of which was influenced by and derived from techniques and materials employed especially in industrial fabrication and manufacture."

a protogoth band from the 80's, they had a sound way ahead of their time. Famous for songs like hollow hills or Bela Logusi's dead, their music is very slow at times, and reminds one of wind, cold as death, whistling through the autumn leaves on the trees, a stagnant mist hanging low on the ground. At least, that's what I get out of it. Bauhaus is named after the german school of design, who was obsessed with efficency. For instance, they abolished the capital letters, because moving your finger over to the shift key took too much time.
"Dude, did you get the new bauhaus CD?"

"Um, they've been broken up for like 20 years, dipshit."

1. One of the original bands who defined what we now see as "goth", along with Sisters Of Mercy, Siouxsie And The Banshees and Fields Of The Nephilim. Their music is very dark, and sometimes fairly morbid. Go and buy their greatest hits album and you'll see just how great they are. :)

2. A kind of Gothic architecture.
"There's a definite Bauhaus influence on this new Cruxshadows album..."

Bauhaus chic

Fashion inspired by modernist Bauhaus designs. Some characteristics of such fashions include simplicity, minimalism, severe but elegant geometric shapes, absence of ornamentation, and emphasis on functionality. Is becoming trendy among some social circles, but has not become not mainstream as of yet.
Some fashion shows have featured Bauhaus chic fashions.

(type "Bauhaus fashion", "Bauhaus chic", or "Bauhaus style" on Google for more examples of this.)

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
