Borrowed from Russian барабан (“drum”), via the expression «мне по барабану» (“it’s all the same to me / I don’t care”), and adapted in colloquial Moldovan speech. Figurative meaning: “don’t care,” “doesn’t matter at all,” “irrelevant to me.”.
