Augustana 

A band originating from California. Their debut CD, which came out in September of '05, titled All the Stars and Boulevards, contains their hit single Boston. They could be considered 'piano rock' but when just reading their lyrics you may believe them to be emo though they are not.

Jared, Dan, South and Chris and the primary members. Former guitarest Josiah left the bad to pursue a solo career.

Augustana rocks my brains out. Bullets, track two on the cd, is considered one of the best songs they have produced by their fanbase.

Augustana University 

Formerly Augustana College, Augustana University is the best college in the shittiest state in the union (South Dakota), therefore not saying much. It offers decent liberal arts degrees, but engineering/tech degrees are honestly shit. People have had to get a masters elsewhere to even be considered for a position at a firm. Only famous Augie graduate is the co-founder of 23&Me and some secretary of the senate a long ass time ago. That being said, still ridiculously shitty. Not a party school. Girls average around a 4. Guys are pretty much all student athletes, so slightly higher. Parties usually get broken up, and you always have some white girl crying about how her life is going, and then she transfers (see SDSU).

"Yeah, mostly so I can date depressed white girls."

Augustana College 

Augustana College is a school in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The schools is made up mostly of Athlete-Students and everyone that is not is most likely a Sioux Falls resident or a complete weirdo. This school is known for having extremely bullshit rules and having a extremely high amount of ugly women. Once you attend this school your standards will drop and you will develop a new code known as "Augie Hot", in which girls at the school are only "hot" becuase they attend Augustana and that if they were in the real world they would not even be looked at in a room full of mexican hookers. If you are looking for a party scene this is definately not the school for you, every weekend when you go somewhere you see the same kids everytime and all you will drink is Phillips Vodka, Ron Diaz rum, and Keystone Light. If you are looking for a true college experence this is definately not the school for you.

One dude said to another dude at a party at Augustana College, "That girl isn't even Augie Hot and i got my Beer Gogs on."

Augustana College 

A private college located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Although it's by no means a party school, the educational programs offered there are superior to many, many colleges, especially the ones in the area. Anyone who wishes to attend Augustana must have the idea that he or she is primarily there to learn, not to get drunk.
