Ailin, from the original Turkish word Ailin, means a moon halo, which makes sense. Ailin is one of the most bright and beautiful women you will ever meet, but there are always exceptions. Ailin will make an exceptional girlfriend or even girl friend. Ailin is one of the funniest girls you will ever meet and can roast anyone she sees. *Do practice caution roasting her as she tends to get sad.* She loves socializing and is one of the best dancers you will meet. She does, however, have questionable cooking skills, as they tend to be better bakers and not scrambled egg makers. If you find a special Ailin, grab onto her with all you can (with consent of course), because they are worth it. They will make life amazing and will be more loyal than a German Shepard addicted to crack. However, mess with Ailin and you will regret it. Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
