Yanswering 

The misguided act of manipulating, or attempting to manipulate, Yahoo Answers in order to complete homework, or other educational assignments, with the absolute bare minimum of effort
A: "I'm deeply concerned that your son resorted to yanswering his last assignment."

B: "Outrageous accusation! Do you have any proof of this?"

A: "He scored 7% ...and didn’t even bother to edit out the other users' names."

To act in service to a higher i.e. more noble cause, a greater good. Often indicating an action undertaken at the behest of a Higher Power, such as a supreme being or deity, or some conception of justice and the morally right; motivation for personal growth and/or individual sacrifice for the greater good.
The lawyer quit her lucrative position as a private defense attorney and instead became a low paid public defender because she was answering a higher calling.

Janswer/Janswering 

You call it a "Janswer" when a person reacts with simple phrases with "I know" or "Thats not even possible" to a joke or a rhetorical question. Janswering is a simple way to piss off your friends and other people around you.
Janswering is often used to skip a conversation. A person which wants to skip your intput and start a new conversation theme would often use a janswer and instantly start a new theme.
Janswer/Janswering:
An example for janswering ist this simple case:
p1: "did u hear of the flying horses?"
p2: "yes" ...starts his own conversation

Prank Answering

When a good friend calls and you answer the phone like-
A) you speak a foreign language, or broken english, or
B) Like you've never heard the name of the person before.
Either way it makes the person suspect they have a wrong number, and it's funny as hell. Sort of like a prank call, just by the receiver.

John dials the number....
RING
RING
Perry: hehehe
*answers*
Perry: Herro, this is panda moon!
John: umm... uh... I think I have a wrong number!
Perry: I'm just fucking around! I was prank answering you!

answering the phone 

When someone gets hit by person or object hard enough to hear ringing in their head.
Oh man did you see that hit? That guys gonna be answering the phone for awhile.

George Costanza Answering Machine 

A George Costanza Answering Machine is when you record a ridiculous greeting people hear when they call your answering machine. It comes from an episode of "Seinfeld" where George's greeting is himself singing a song off key to avoid talking to his girlfriend.
I HATE calling Paul when he isn't home. He has a George Costanza Answering Machine.

A)
The Crud that collects under the keys in a keyboard. Usually more severe in the keyboards of programmers and webmasters as they tend to spend a lot of time at the the computer and thus eat at their desk. Mainly affecting IBM Model M (clicly) style boards.

West Midlands slang word for rockers, bikers, greasers etc. In the late 1980s it was used by the UK music press to refer to a specific scene centered around the bands Pop Will Eat Itself and Crazyhead. The term never found favour with readers of 'the inkies' (Sounds, Melody Maker and the still extant NME) and was soon dropped. Now often used in predominantly working-class areas of the midlands and the north to mean someone who listens to rock-derived music and/or dresses in a manner that suggests they affiliate themselves with rock music of some kind.
