A hack fix to any problem that on the surface looks like it might work but in reality is just garbage.

I yancified my dirt bike exhaust using epoxy after it burst at the seam from placing it in the freezer with water to take out the dents.

Referring to something or someone. To have experienced a glow up or done something that makes you screen "yass queen finger snapping". It normally refers to a change admired or cherished in the LGBTQplus community or boss-bitch culture.

yanktified 

The process, usually applied to one of southern upbringing, of being assimilated into the northern (or yankee) way of life. This may include words used inconversation, accents, driving styles and choices in beer. This process normally takes a certain amount of time and is not completed overnight, but is highly noticable when the person returns to their point of origin for a visit.

After moving from Austin to Chicago, I was clear that Becky had become yanktified by how she sped through yellow lights and constantly pressed the car horn.

The act of something or someone that is of Southern US origin, but over time has come to more closely resemble a thing or person of Northern US origin.

After five years of living in New York City, her family worried she was fully yankified.

Those yankified grits are good, but my grandmother's recipe is better.
