pworfh - partially work from home; a blend of actual tasks and side quests like laundry, doomscrolling, and staring at the
fridge.
sworfh - supposedly work from home: you log into Zoom but actually binge-watch something with subtitles so it looks like you’re concentrating.
worfhacation - a vacation disguised as work from home;
may involve tropical drinks and “quick calls” from the balcony.
gworfh - guilty worfh, when you should be working harder but the couch keeps hugging you back.
cworfh - crisis worfh, working from home during kids’ school holidays, home repairs, or barking-dog apocalypse.
tworfh - team worfh, when you and your housemate/spouse both WFH and have to coordinate who gets the ‘good’ desk.
luxworph, dluxworph - luxury worfh, working from home with high-end
coffee machines, ergonomic everything, and a cat that behaves.
And of course,
fukworfh (verb, exclamation) - To give up entirely on working from home for the day, often in a
blaze of frustration, distraction, or utter lack of motivation.
Example: After my third Wi-Fi drop-out, I just said fukworfh and went for a
nap.
