The detours and delays of a regular vacation casused by volcanic ash disrupting your return flight home, or conversely the time you spend at home because you couldn't fly out.
Prague was great, but the volcation took in Germany, Switzerland and France on the drive back!

Vacation debt

The consequences that one has to face for taking a vacation.

The fatigue that you have after coming from a hectic vacation or the chores that you missed because you went for a vacation but needs to be tended now along with everything else that's currently going on.

Another example would be the work that gets piled up while you are gone at your workplace and now needs to be done along with the current work.
I can't make it to the party tomorrow, I'm still dealing with my vacation debt.

I need a spa day to get rid of this vacation debt.

I'm drowning in my vacation debt, oh, it's horrible.

grippy sock vacation

A stay in the mental hospital. Name taken from the grippy socks given to (mostly involuntary) patients. Patients are not allowed shoes with laces due to suicide risk so grippy socks like those used at trampoline parks are issued to patients for footwear.
See: "psych ward socks"

Source: Was in mental hospital in 2019 and know other patients from other institutions

Phrase originally used within mental hospital circles and later spread on TikTok and other social media.

Vacationitis

The lack of concern for any of one's responsibilities in the days (or weeks, or months) leading up to a vacation. Physical symptoms include the wearing of capris and jeans at work, flip-flops, or Uggs, and a lack of makeup or grooming. Dishes begin piling up in the sink, and the afflicted's response to most questions is: "Uh, I'll worry about that later." Can happen as early as the date of vacation planning, or as late as the hours before the flight leaves.
Yeah, I was going to wash my hair, but I figured I can do that once I get to Maui. Next month. I must be suffering from vacationitis.

Vacation Head

When a person does not accomplish anything at work because all they think about is their upcoming vacation.
Shane: "Jason please complete your work before you leave for vacation."

Jason: "No problem boss, I will have that done today."

Shane: "Hey, did Jason complete his work before vacation?"

Craig: "Hell no, that lazy bastard had vacation head."

This text has been found in violation of H.R 3261, S.O.P.A and has been removed.

S.O.P.A stands for Stop Online Piracy Act. It was a bill introduced in October of 2011 to prevent piracy, copyright infringement, and the trafficking of counterfeit goods online. S.O.P.A was very controversial, as many accused it of limiting free speech.

I don’t know why you would need to know about this, but you can find it in a high-ranked definition of America, so hey, context!
Someone: Hey, what’s this “ This text has been found in violation of H.R 3261, S.O.P.A and has been removed. ” on the definition of America mean?
Nerd: It’s a bill passed to prevent illegal activity online.

West Midlands slang word for rockers, bikers, greasers etc. In the late 1980s it was used by the UK music press to refer to a specific scene centered around the bands Pop Will Eat Itself and Crazyhead. The term never found favour with readers of 'the inkies' (Sounds, Melody Maker and the still extant NME) and was soon dropped. Now often used in predominantly working-class areas of the midlands and the north to mean someone who listens to rock-derived music and/or dresses in a manner that suggests they affiliate themselves with rock music of some kind.
Some grebo passed with Sabbath playing on his stereo.
The Poppies are at no. 17? God, a grebo band in the charts!
They're playing nu-metal now, bloody grebos!
