Uberplayed

A defining term for a popular song that has been overplayed, but to such an extent the mere mention of it
now conjures up thoughts of doing terrible things to the person who sang it

Examples include:
Breathe by Faith Hill
Second Chance by Shinedown
Lights by Ellie Goulding
Big Girls Don't Cry by Fergie
Sex on Fire by Kings of Leon

So many songs get uberplayed these days, it's a wonder why I even listen to the radio to begin with
