Tasukete (written 助けて) is the Japanese way of saying "Save me" or "Help me". This is
the first thing you're going to want to learn if you're learning Japanese.
Imagining yourself in a predicament is a good way of using this word, if you have someone stuck in said predicament too.
There's another, more casual form of asking help—not when
you're in danger—but you just need a hand to
do something;
手伝ってくれますか
Tetsudatte kuremasu ka?
Can you help me?
3170: I saw a
definition of a word made up by a group. I saw the original source of said made up word, which...DIDN'T have a
definition. That word was "tekesuta", from "tasukete". It seemed abnormal, so I had to sit for 10 minutes making a definition for it.
Oh how I love
wasting time :D
