Circle Table Kid 

- adjective, noun

This word originates in the Hoffman Estates High School cafeteria. Right after you first enter through the glass wall, you'll see a bunch of tables that are round with seats surrounding them. This word describes the type of people who sit at these tables.

A circle table kid is the type of kid who:

1. Enjoys watching anime and dressing like their favorite character to school. This isn't just for Halloween, this is everyday. They wear cat ears, ninja gloves/headbands, and capes.

2. They bring their nintendo ds to school and insist on showing everyone how cool they are for doing so. Hunched over the table, they engage in intense matches of mario kart. These battles can lead to frightening fits of nerd rage and have been known to become dangerous.

3. Mostly white, there are also black circle table kids. These are not the typical blacks that roam the halls of hoffman in the bottom hallway before the cafeteria (the jungle). These, however, are equally frightening as the denizens of the jungle, but not because of their hostility or guns, but because they are really weird. These are the black kids who wear trench coats and fucking stare at you like a psycho. Feeling unidentified with their ghetto counterparts, they keep to themselves, plotting the next columbine.

Circle Table Kid

A circle table kid is the type of person who:

1. Knows how to read

2. Has other hobbies besides getting wasted or stoned

3. Has their own fashion sense

4. Has fun being themselves

5. Circle table kids don't need to match everyone else

6. Aren't complete assholes all the time

7. Can hold actual conversations

8. Usually loves music

9. Most of the time wouldn't hurt a fly

There are also other people who sit at the circle tables, they are the people who just have no where else to sit.

The kid's table 

When you are fully grown adult and becomes talked down to, and/or excluded from activities, tasks, etc, especially from superiors such as parents/family members, coworkers, bosses, friends, and so forth. Usually seen in terms of condescending and/or sarcasm. Examples are names such as bud, buddy, or pal when you really have no communication on the outside. Somewhat like a kids table at a dinner or party where children are set aside from adult conversations and matters.

Guy 1: Dude, I am so ready to fucking leave that job. I keep getting put at the kid's table and treated like a child.
Guy 2: Why do you say that?
Guy 1: Everytime I mess up on something, They don't explain to me what I'm doing wrong, fix it themselves, walk off and put me on some dumb janitorial task. They have all these dumb inside jokes and keep me in the dark about everything. I think its time to find a new job.

Rectangle Table Kids 

This is yet another word that has originated from Hoffman Estates High School. If you enter the cafeteria you first see circle tables and further back are the rectangle tables. This word describes the people who sit here.

1. The very first row of rectangle tables are usually where your nobodies, outcasts, or wannabe circle table kids sit.

2. The rectangle tables to the far right are where your "ghetto" black people, Hispanic, and a few select white people sit. Most of the fights happen here and you can usually see people either: braiding hair, singing off key, dancing ridiculously, or just talking abnormally loud.

3. As you go further back, closer to the middle is where your preps and jocks sit. Most (not all) preps that sit here are very judge-mental and are cheerleaders. Your jocks usually consist of football players who can't win a game. It is strange on how HEHS is good in every other sport but football.

4. Further back is a very special select table that is right next to the lunch line. This single table is usually overrun by the "I think I'm better then you" annoying seniors. These seniors think they run the high school and have law above everyone else, but alas they don't.
