A statement or declaration containing errors, omissions and misrepresentations to advance an agenda by misleading and falsifying information. Often written in email, social media or mailed to community members anonymously. Similar to propaganda just not as effective.
Peter: “Did you read this ridiculous letter that came in the mail? This is such crap!”
