Sun House

A rock & soul band from Berkeley, California. Their name is a take-off on the legendary American bluesman, 'Son House', and the song most famously performed by the British Invasion-era band the Animals, 'House of the Rising Sun'. In addition, changing the word 'Son' to 'Sun' has deeper, older, spiritual connotations (see the movie 'Zeitgeist')...

House of the Rising Sun

One of the greatest rock songs of all time. The best known version of the song was done by the Animals in 1965. "Rising Sun" is an old british term for whore house. Whether or not that is the songs intended meaning is unknown.
Remember that scene in Casino where all the guys are getting killed and they play House of the Rising Sun. That was awesome.

House of The Rising Sun

House of the Rising Sun is a song written by The Animals in 1964. It is considered a rock classic, and currently holds the record for Most Auditioned Song for American Idol. The Animals later revealed that the song itself is about a prison, referencing a "ball and chain" in the lyrics as well as the title "House of the Rising Sun" which is a reference to the fact that prisoners wake at sunrise.
Did you hear Haley Reinhart's take on House of the Rising Sun? It was amazing
