One of the best modern power metal bands in existance today, comprising of Timo Tolkki on guitar, Jari Kainulainen on bass guitar, Timo Kotipelto on vocals, Jörg Michael on drums, and Jens Johansson on keyboards.
Despite the many difficulties they've experienced since 2003 and early 2004, there is still a glimmer of hope for all the true fans of Stratovarius that a new album will be released in 2005 or so.

Stratovarius
A metal band from the 1980's to the present. Timo Tolkki is the mastermind and guitarist behind it, with Timo Kotipelto doing vocals.
However, the band's future is unclear as Timo and another stratovarius member have left the group due to a dispute.
Stratovarius is primarily a Finnish/European band with most of its fans in Japan and South America.

NOooooooooooooooooooo...ooooo!!! They mustnt stop their music and Timo K. (singer) must come back!!! Don't care if the other still there but want to hear my angel sing again!
I just love listening to his voice! (and ofcours admiring his long golden hair)
The music just takes you away... It's just breathtaking and sometimes it really makes you cry for more (or just cry... the lyrics possesses much emotions)
So... just listen to them... buy a cd or two... they're great and will always stay in my heart... I think I will never get bored listening to their music (so is the music of "HIM")

West Midlands slang word for rockers, bikers, greasers etc. In the late 1980s it was used by the UK music press to refer to a specific scene centered around the bands Pop Will Eat Itself and Crazyhead. The term never found favour with readers of 'the inkies' (Sounds, Melody Maker and the still extant NME) and was soon dropped. Now often used in predominantly working-class areas of the midlands and the north to mean someone who listens to rock-derived music and/or dresses in a manner that suggests they affiliate themselves with rock music of some kind.
