it pains me to say that im the first person to write a decent definition for this great man.

Joe Strummer (born John Grahm Mellor) was/is the vocalist for one of the most important bands in punk rock The Clash. With a leftist political view and a reggae influence, The Clash rose to the top. The Clash broke up in the late 1980's and Strummer went on to a solo career. In 1995 or so, Joe strummer signed onto Hellcat records with a backing band called The Mescaleros, releasing fourl albums before his death on December 22, 2002

Joe strummer was one of the most amazing vocalists of the 80's.

scrummer

A scrummer can also be called a bum, but a high class bum at that. A scrummer is one who wakes up after 11 oclock on a regulaar basis ( weekends and vacations), one who would rock sweatpants regualrly, otfen times with timberland boots. aka scrumberlands, who don't feel like spending the extra 3 $ on "good beer". A scrummer will usualy never turn down a lip, and will find enjoyment in watching tv for more than 2 hours a day, in their sweaatpants. so here's to you scrummers. god bless

The Fact that I am the first person to write a definition for Joe Strummer is crying shame. Frontman of the greatest punk band ever to play, The Clash, and later the lead singer of Joe Strummer and The Mescaleros, Joe Strummer, while widely regarded all over the world is still amazingly underrated. More influentual than John Lennon or any other musician, Joe Strummer is quite simply "God."

-Who are the Clash?
-The Clash are the greatest punk group of all time.
-Who is Joe Strummer?
-The second coming.

Joe Strummer

One of the greatest people who ever has or ever will walk the face of this earth. He was a musician, a political activist, and an all around great guy. Born John Graham Mellor on August 21, 1952. Fronted one of the greatest bands of all time, The Clash. After their breakup, he went on to have a solo career and work in film. In 1999, he formed Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros, a great band. He died on December 22, 2002, at the age of 50. It just goes to show, only the good die young. RIP.

RIP, Joe Strummer, you were and still are awesome.
