Adjective (occasionally adverb), pronounced "spon-dif-er-us".

Meaning spectacular and successful to the minds of the people involved. A spoondiferous event is often seen as silly or irrelevant to the general population but regard as a positive result by the people involved

The word is a derivation from the catch phrase spoon used by the cartoon character named 'The Tick'.

In a spoondiferous display Billy set a new world record for holding the most hot dogs under his armpits whilst riding a bicycle.

Spindrift

A highly influential progressive grunge metal band from Zimbabwe, Spindrift formed in 1912. They were formed when Jesus fused with a Volcano. Their line up consists of:

Alex Brudzynski - Lead vocals, lead bass, lead saxophone, lead rhythm guitar

Jak Tyler - Lead lead Guitar, Lead 12 String guitar, lead acoustic guitar

Joey Fadem - Lead drums, rhythm lead lefty bass

Spindrift is known for their amazingness and for their odd time signatures and really effing epic songs. Their self titled album was very revolutionary in the evolution of music. Their rivals are the elfcore band Maelstrom, hailing from Tonga.
