The philosophical or theological belief that the human genome is part of the divinely sustained biological organization of the body, while the soul is created immediately by God and united to that body as a human person. Spiritual genomics holds that DNA does not generate the soul, consciousness, or personhood. Instead, the genome provides the unique biological architecture through which a God-created soul is embodied and expressed in the material world.
In simple terms: your genes shape your body; your soul makes you a person.

"I don't think consciousness comes from DNA alone. My view is closer to spiritual genomics, where genetics provide the biological framework and the soul provides personhood."
