Soul Whore
A soul whore, or soul whoring, is the phenomenon encountered when playing a cooperative play through of the popular fighting fantasy game franchise, Dark Souls.
In the game, Dark Souls, one most do as the American corporations do and claim as many unwilling souls as possible.
This process can imbue one with a sort of dirty sexual power obsession and a sudden leaning towards delusional rape-like activity; this lead to soul whoring and is commonly seen as a societal short coming.
Soul whoring can be observed through dysfunctional personality traits such as hording (i.e. saving massive amounts of souls to brag in lieu of using them for leveling up or spending); collecting (i.e. finding items to increase soul count or finding high soul yielding farming locations); exclusion (i.e. asking singular members of a cooperative team to do a boss or area without the other members of the cooperative team); delusion (i.e. believing the game is about soul count/level and game knowledge rather than exploration and trial and error game play); and mania (i.e. excitement towards high soul accumulation and higher levels than members of their cooperative team).
However, there is hope found in modern medicine; soul whoring has been found to be curable through disenfranchisement with meta-gaming and two blunts to the face all day, erryday.
