Snewffing

1. The act of poking your nose, with interest, in places where it does not belong.
2. When a cat smells your face with dissatisfaction.

1. I went snewffing around my neighbor's yard and was greeted by a large hound.

2. Each morning upon wakening, my cat insists on snewffing me with great gusto.
