Skinchies

Expression used by children in NE England, whereby you cross your fingers and shout "Skinchies" to be safe or claim immunity when playing a game.

Can be nullified by another player shouting "Nae skinchies!" while your fingers are uncrossed.

“I'm not out I've got skinchies.”
"You can't tag me, I've got skinchies."
