Shit buffet

A point in time at which all parts of life and all possible choices/options seem like total shit. As if you were standing in front of a buffet where every dish was a different style of shit.
Fried shit, sauteed shit, shit flambee, shit au gratin, shit con carne, shit with hoisin sauce.

I'm late for work because my car won't start, i can't call because my phone is in the house, i locked myself OUT of the house, and nobody is home. Great, now its raining. What a shit buffet.

A generally large shit taken after eating at a buffet (old country, Chinese, etc.) It usually happens with 15-120 minutes after eating. Usually relaxing and can sometimes end your stomach ache

Your boss or line-manager. A good shit-buffer will protect your from all the shit raining down from senior levels of management. They will stop you from being pulled into random projects and protect you from all the politics so you can just get on and do your job without unnecessary stress.

My boss is a great shit-buffer.
