Saiouma, also known as Oumasai, is the slash ship between Kokichi Ouma and Shuichi Saihara, two characters from the third killing game in the visual novel series, Danganronpa.

The two of them are never really friends during the events of Danganronpa V3, but most people ship them due to their interesting and unique chemistry.

Shuichi is the Super High School Level Detective, and Kokichi is the Super High School Level Supreme Leader. Kokichi has a childish personality and lies a lot, while Shuichi is an awkward and kind character (who builds confidence throughout the game).

Kokichi does seem to show some kind of interest in Shuichi, especially in the 4th Chapter investigation. He tells Kaito Momota (Shuichi's best friend and sidekick) that he wants to take his place and be Shuichi's sidekick instead. Kaito obviously tells him no though, but Kokichi helps Shuichi in the investigation anyways.

During the 6th investigation, Shuichi can explore Kokichi's bedroom and he sees that he's the only person Kokichi found trustworthy (as shown by the word "trustworthy??" written under a picture of Shuichi). That's a big thing coming from Kokichi, he didn't trust anyone in a Killing Game in case someone he bonded with was the Mastermind. That makes this another reason people ship the two, Kokichi has trust in Shuichi.
"Why do you even like Saiouma? It's a toxic ship!"
"No it's not toxic, Kokichi never did anything bad to Shuichi directly, all that happened between them was Shuichi telling Kokichi he'd always be alone after his manipulation in Chapter 4. The relationship isn't toxic, that's only what some of the fandom makes it out to be. They just had some arguments, which makes sense given the circumstances of the characters being in a Killing Game. It's really just one-sided."
"That makes sense, have a poggers day my friend."

Saiouma is a ship between Shuichi Saihara and Kokichi Ouma in Danganronpa v3.

If I'm being honest I like this ship because they have a cute and funny relationship!
A fruity liar and an emo detective is just a cool concept ig and if you don't ship it that is totally fine!

someone who stans the ship between kokichi ouma and shuichi saihara from danganronpa v3. they are either really toxic and scary or really chill and nice. there is literally no in-between. not all of them are fujoshis btw. some of them just find the dynamic interesting. there are a good deal of them who will assault and murder you if you say the wrong thing tho. they fight with saimatsu stans ALL THE TIME (who are also terrifying). it is very rare for a saiouma stan to become friends with a saimatsu stan. the legendary forbidden pact, unknown to this world.
person #1: do you have an otp?
person #2: personally, my favorite ship is saiouma

Saiouma is a ship name for two danganronpa characters such as Kokichi Ouma and Shuichi Saihara. These two are mainly shipped by kids who are chronically online or creepy old people, some people say being a “Saiouma shipper” is a good thing but its honestly a mix of crappy people and.. other crappy people :). These people tend to be toxic but some of them might be nice. Don’t judge a book by a cover but if someone is a Saiouma shipper, run.
Person 1: hey I think I’m a Saiouma shipper!
Person 2: you ship two characters who don’t like each other? just because Kokichi might like him doesn’t mean Shuichi likes Kokichi back. It’s very one sided and quiet toxic..
Person 1: oh, sorry I just went based off of the fandom versions!
Person 2: don’t go by what the fandom says..
