A group of best friends who spend a lot of time together and truly care for one another. They are named after Saffo, an Archaic Greek poet, known for her lyric poetry, written to be sung while accompanied by a lyre. She is widely regarded as one of the greatest lyric poets and as a symbol of love and affection between women.
