These former queen bees use the term Safe Girls to derogatorily describe the ex’s new girlfriend in an attempt to discredit the new girlfriend’s beauty and intelligence and to encourage others to buy into her fantasy that she, the queen bee, is not the trifling, insignificant, bitter person she has become.
