Sacristy Rat

A term used especially in the Catholic and Episcopal Churches to describe an unordained individual so devoted to his Church that he is seldom seen to leave. He can often be observed meticulously arranging the fair linens, compulsively rearranging the altar candles in descending order of height, and maintaining the integrity of the reserve sacrament at all hours of the night. Outside of their eccleastical duties, Sacristy rats have a reputation for being heavy drinkers, particularly in the Episcopal Church.

SACEism

The xenophobia experienced by IB students towards those struggling to complete the South Australian Certificate of Education. It is often said that SACE students are stupid and this is why IB students take pride in discriminating them in a SACEist way.

IN LIBRARY
IB student to other IB student:
-Hey dude, did you hear that Sophie got a C in child studies?
-Are you kidding? Well, what do you expect - she is SACE after all.
In comes SACE student to try and chat up the librarian:
-Oi wankers, that's SACEism!
-Sorry Damo, just telling the truth.
