An Album By New Order. A Band that spawned from Joy Division. which included songs that people know like blue monday and age of consent.
hey man have you ever listened to new order. yeah i listened to substance just last night after hearing age of consent from that one soffia coppola movie preview.
Cocaine, heroin, ecstasy, weed, hash, opium, angel dust, ketamine, lsd, uppers, downers, and everything else you can ingest.
That guy's writing had substance, he didn't go 5 pages without mentioning snorting, shooting, smoking, drinking, dissolving or plugging rectally something that was he was going to get high off of. Is that the kind of writing anybody would really want to read over and over for more than a laugh though?
The guy's/girl's bullshit could have been about a sentence long, straight to the point, but instead he/she spent 5 pages of adding in substance to make it sound more interesting/exciting than it actually was.
1. Substance D is a fictional addictive amphetamine-like psychoactive drug, also known as "Slow Death", "Death" and "D", that is depicted in Philip K. Dick's novel "A Scanner Darkly". It's derived from the fictional flower "Mors ontologica".
2. By extension, Substance D can refer to amphetamine (speed).
"What he sold me as 'candy' actually turned out to be 'Substance D'."
This is a more subtle way to refer to amphetamine in a conversation if you don't want to attract too muchattention.
