SG is a guitar manufactured by Gibson. It is most definetly NOT a "poor man's" Les Paul! What kinda motherfucking bullshit is that? It is as prone to accidents as any guitar, as a guitar can not cause an accident itself, it needs human assistance. If you dont want the headstock to snap, then buy a decent strap and dont drop the damn thing! Thats basic common sense.

A group that roam the area of east sydney. They think they own the streets and the entire network or "league" as they call it.
Rumour has it, that much like the Universe, SG was created with a "Big Bang", this is officially named the "Worm Fart". Which upon release has the innate property of raising the level of dopamine in all SG members within it's radius. Inducing a freedom ritual.
They have a multitude of gang signs including the straight face, the freedom totem and the notorious SG symbol. These however always hold an aura of transience. The greatest example of the continuously changing nature of these greetings is the SG fistbump. There are currently two acceptible fistbumps including the untouching walk-away bump and the rock v paper bump. Both derived from the youtube-famous JimmyTatros.
To become a SG member, the individual has to attend the freedom initiation ritual which is held in one of the founding member's crib. Every one of SG's rituals are somewhat confidential and there is currently no solid eveidence of them ever happening.
These scandalous people believe that they are hardcore but in reality they are just a Study Group.

The Gibson SG is a very beautiful Guitar. Played by many greats, and often called a poor mans Les Paul, it is actually the Les Paul's replacement. (The Les Paul was so popular they had to reissue it.) Notable Gibson SG players include Jimi Hendrix, Tony Iommi and Angus Young. There are many different models you can obtain, including the Angus Young Signature SG, which is the AC/DC guitarists personal favourite.

The striver is an interesting phenomenon that is seen across college campuses. In essence, the striver is an over-achiever who comes from a working or middle class family. He may be an immigrant. He may have been a slacker in HS who was "born again" into an academic wunderkind. Or he may just be an over-achiever who is keeping at it.
The striver is willing to sacrifice his social life at the expense of Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude. The striver is the guy who stays at the library long after you are gone. The striver is the guy who takes 30 credits/semester and considers anything below an A/4.0 failure. The striver doesn't work on campus, he is too busy finding ways to pad his resume instead of working retail or workstudy. The striver lets his grades pay his education by applying to ten scholarships a year.
The striver is a future Soros/Fullbright/Rhodes/Gates/Marshall/etc. fellow. The striver lives to study. For the striver, their fun comes from the rewards they expect to receive in return for their diligence. Be it Law School, B-School, academia, or politics. The striver seeks to find the American Dream through academic success.
