An animtaion technique where you trace every single cell or frames from motion picture footage, originally rotoscoping was invented to achieve a more "realistic action" but it later was mostly used to make funny videos in certain fandom spaces with the same technique but tracing every single frame based of a certain clip from a video or movie.
