Remocate

To relocate to a new country or location to work remotely. The phenomenon of remocating has become increasingly popular since the 2019 Covid-19 outbreak, as large numbers of office workers were given the option of working remotely from home. Many then realized the world has more to offer to their home towns and started remocating to new, more exciting locations.
Has anyone seen John? -Nah, haven't seen him for over a year. Since his employer closed all their physical offices, he remocated to Saigon, Vietnam.
