A high-necked, narrow-cut dress, often made out of silk or brocade. The best examples have "frog" closures and are slit up both sides of the skirt.

Originally from China; the term literally means "banner dress." Also known as a cheongsam.

Qiao

A nice guy who gives wise advice. He has a positive outlook on life, and won't let even the worst of things take him down. He will always be there for his friends and offers great hugs. Having a down-to-earth attitude, people love to be around him as he doesn't make others feel inferior. A great friend to have, as he does his best to make people feel included. He is willing to try new things, like watching horror movies, even though evidently terrified of them. He is extremely talented and is pretty good at sport/games, even though he might not know it. When he sees something that he is not so good at, he will look at ways to improve and better himself - a trait that not many people have. He hasn't been really lucky in his love life, but the right one will come along and appreciate him for the kind-hearted, loving, person that he is. Qiao's are generally hard to read because they hide their emotions well. You won't know if something is up unless they tell you about it. They only trust a few, so you should feel honoured if they do trust you. If you have a Qiao in your life, treat him well, because you'll regret it if you don't.
