To invite long distance relatives, loved ones or friends to stay with you for holidays, vacation, or a weekend, but back out when they arrive or cut the stay short without reason or remorse.
Mary; "How was the Christmas trip?"
Peter; "We got there and she ended up pulling a Peg. Said she changed her mind and told us to get a hotel."
