Being overly specific/technical about something in an attempt to obscure information.

I tried to find out where they were but they were pulling a Kiera.

Pulling a Kieran 

Pulling a Kieran is when you are ill and you haven't eaten, but your squad beckons to go on the night out and due to your weakened state, you have a few drinks and you end the night spilling your guts into a gutter.

"Oh man, did you see him last night?"
"No what happened?"
"He ended up 'pulling a Kieran'!"
