Promets zijn Pilletjes Promethazine , een individu kan dit meestal krijgen via een dokter voor bijvoorbeeld vlieg angst of slaap problemen , in de ggz staat het ook bekend voor slaap problemen of angst remmend.

Het staat ook bekend om het effect dat het heeft, het geeft een mild stoned effect af , je kunt duizelig zijn en rode ogen krijgen als je niet in slaap valt van de promethazine

Het woord promets woord vaak gebruikt onder jongeren om ze van een lokale dealer te kopen.

A saying that is applied when somethimg is falling on or chasing someone, and instead of turning and running to get out of the path of the object, this person runs straight instead.

The man ran was about to be crushed by the falling building because he obviously went to the prometheus school of running away from things.

Prometheus 

A Titan who is chained and tortured by Zeus for stealing fire from heaven and giving it to mankind.

Prometheus gave the mortals all sorts of gifts: brickwork, woodworking, telling the seasons by the stars, numbers, the alphabet (for remembering things), yoked oxen, carriages, saddles, ships and sails. He also gave other gifts: healing drugs, seercraft, signs in the sky, the mining of precious metals, animal sacrifice and all art.

Prometheus 

(film) - released June 2012 - a science fiction/horror film by Sir Ridley Scott, and written by Jon Spaihts & Damon Lindelof. It stars Noomi Rapace (The Girl with Dragon Tattoo), Michael Fassbender (Magneto from X-Men First Class), Guy Pearce, Idris Elba (Thor film), Logan Marshall-Green and Charlize Theron (uber hottie actress). Set in the late 21st century, the story centers on the crew of the spaceship Prometheus as they follow a star map discovered among the remnants of several ancient Earth civilizations. Led to a distant world and an advanced civilization, the crew seeks the origins of humanity, but instead discovers a threat that could cause the extinction of the human race.

The film is related to Ridley Scott's "Alien" movies, and is set in the same fictional universe, however, there are many changes and differences.

The name of the film, Prometheus, is also the name of the Earthling's space-ship, sponsored by the Weyland Corporation (precursor to the Weyland-Yutani Corp of the Alien films).

"Prometheus, are you seeing this?" says Elizabeth Shaw (played by Noomi Rapace) as she radios the Prometheus spaceship to ensure they are witnessing what she is seeing through her spacesuit, which is an absolutely huge bust of a humanoid head, which looks strangely human, and is surrounded by many containers filled with some deadly outer-space crap that the crew should have left the hell alone!

Nickname for promethazine, also known as lean or sizzurp. Used as a recreational drug, and referenced by a ton of rappers in songs.

However, some artists just talk about using lean, while in reality they have never touched the stuff. (Drake aka Jimmy the cripple)
