pricetentious

used to describe a product or service which has been overpriced to create the appearance of value; something that is not nearly as valuable or important as it is made out to be.
'that bar is so pricetentious - do you know how much they charge for a cover? and once you get inside, you'll see - it's totally not worth it'

priestentious

This is the person at Church who knows all the priests and all the prayers...she judges you on when you arrive at mass and how loudly you pray...she sits in the front pew...she is the first to loudly say 'Good Morning, Father!' and the first in line for Communion.
"Nice of you at join us...Mass starts at 10:30, not 10:34. Hmph." she sniffed priestentiously.

"Oh, I had such a wonderful time talking w/Monsignor Tim and Father Joe at dinner. It's a shame you don't know them as well as I do."

Shackteâu

A Shackteau is a humble, weather-beaten, structurally questionable shelter located in a spectacular or highly coveted place—Wales, Jackson Hole, Sun Valley, Crested Butte, coastal Maine, the Alps—where the building itself may be worth almost nothing, but the dirt, view, access, and mythology make it absurdly valuable.
In use:
Shackteâu - We thought it was an abandoned shed until the realtor called it a rare alpine Shackteâu with unobstructed views and listed it for $2 million.
