The act of requesting during or after the requested act is or has been done.

Requested to clean a room during or after you have cleaned the said room resulting in mistaken compliance with the request, which makes the request a proquest.

proquestination

When you have an important task that you do not want to complete, so instead you complete other non-pressing tasks ("side-quests") instead of getting the more urgent thing done.

"I just cleaned my room and did all my laundry instead of doing my chem homework."
"Wow, that's a prime example of proquestination."
