hillbilly peleton
a group of hillbillys riding bicycles together. derigor clothing for this peleton are a beanie, clothing advertising football or beer,trackie dacks, an unkempt long goatee is compulsory for males (but optional for females)as is the cigarette for both genders. bikes must not be worth more than a slab (of beer aka carton) extra style points awarded for bikes from the tip or from dubious legal origins (stolen)

Piglets - When a woman aged 30 or more puts her short to medium length hair into pigtails and those pigtails are shorter in length to the point there are almost out of the bands which hold them. Often seen in a yoga class in California.

Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
