A mechanic in the 1996 Nintendo 64 game, Super Mario 64. Because of how the game processes Mario's position, it is possible to be really far from the actual level while still able to interact with the floors and walls, as if another copy of the floors and walls were there, hence the name "parallel universe". It was made popular by TASer pannenkoek2012 in his YouTube video "SM64 - Watch for Rolling Rocks - 0.5x A Presses (Commentated)", in which he abused this mechanic to obtain a star while keeping the jump button held the whole time.
The excuse given to any and all things unexplained but still true.....Actually we can blame CERN for this one. Similar to the Mandela Effect but on a personal scale that effects only you. Can be used literally or figuratively depending on your mindset and willingness to out yourself as a believer in the theory.
John blames being thrown into a parallel universe as to why his professor didn't get his email. The John in THIS universe never sent it.
Similar to the traditional reverse vampire, the PURV must only be out during sunlight and dies in the dark. Sadely, the PURV does not have super-human strength or any form of charismatic animal magnatism. The PURV is has below average strength and is afraid of women or men depending the the PURV's gender.
Let's go out around midnight, so there is no chance of running into a paralell universe reverse vampire.

Now that I am an adult I am beginning to heal from the churchhurt that was inflicted on me as a child.
