Parents,Families, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays(PFLAG)is an organization that embraces LGBT people. It was started after Jeanne Manford marched with her son in the New York gay pride parade and many gay and lesbian youths asked her to talk to their parents. The first meeting took place in 1973.
Not only does PFLAG advocate for civil rights, but it offers support for parents who either accept or have trouble accepting their children.
There are around 500 PFLAG chapters in the US.

PFLAG's mission statement:PFLAG promotes the health and well-being of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender persons, their families and friends through: support, to cope with an adverse society; education, to enlighten an ill-informed public; and advocacy, to end discrimination and to secure equal civil rights. Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays provides opportunity for dialogue about sexual orientation and gender identity, and acts to create a society that is healthy and respectful of human diversity.
PFLAG helped Mary Griffith accept her gay son,Bobby, even after his death.

The supposed largest organization uniting parents, families, and allies with people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+). Stealling your money to fill there pockets to only spend it on pride floats and merch and the rent of there 400 chapters over america. And funny enough when Stonewall needed money thorugh the pandemic not a single penny was giving to them. As well you can stare at there IRS tax reports all you want in the end of the day they spending money with out discloseing the names of what bussiness they give them to or how they will spend it. So in the end of day who are they really helping here?

PFLAG Mom

An over-enthusiastic, doting, proud mother of of a gay person, the PFLAG Mom manifests herself in many borderline-embarrassing ways, from buying her child exclusively gay themed books and movies on birthdays to writing letters to the editor and attending marches on behalf of her son/daughter "who happens to be gay and of whom we are SO PROUD!"

The gay children of the PFLAG Mom realize that she means well, and understand that being subjected to Thanskgiving dinner discussions about gaydar while dad shifts uncomfortably in his seat are preferable to being the child of homophobes, but often can't help feeling patronized. In a reversal from convention, the children of the PFLAG Mom sometimes say they wish their mother would "tone it down a bit."
"You should see all the cheesy rainbow magnets my mother put on her car. I mean it's sweet, but, God, she's just *such* a PFLAG Mom."

The Tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise

A story that the Jedi would not tell you.
'Did you ever hear the Tragedy of Darth Plagueis the wise? I thought not. It's not a story the Jedi would tell you. It's a Sith legend. Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord of the Sith, so powerful and so wise he could use the Force to influence the midichlorians to create life... He had such a knowledge of the dark side that he could even keep the ones he cared about from dying. The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. He became so powerful... the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew, then his apprentice killed him in his sleep. It's ironic he could save others from death, but not himself.' - Sheev Palpatine

When you fail at something in life (eg. failing an exam or not getting a job), go home and spend an hour just standing in the shower, propping yourself up against the wall with your eyes on your feet.
