A person with an obsession with technology, culture or fashion of a previous era that they did not grow up in, typically a gen z who's obsessed with 80's-90's video games, movies, crt tvs, shag carpets, vintage sweaters etc etc.

John: "I finally got my hands on a vcr recorder, i cant wait to write Nirvana concerts to it to watch on my crt!"

A form of brainrot that is the hyper-obsession of nostalgic material with a conservative mindset of not accepting change and moving on from the past, even if the newer material is objectively better.

Person 1: "Can't stand new Roblox...I don't like these R15 avatars and these newer, complex games. This is why I only play pre-2013 games and have a blocky 1.0 avatar with no UGC hats. Everything about old Roblox was better..."
