Nine-Nine

A South African slang term meaning "for real," "seriously," "honestly," or "no lie." Used to emphasize the absolute truth of a statement or to confirm that someone is not joking or playing games.

Person A: "Did you really see a monkey steal his bunny chow at the beachfront?"
Person B: "Nine-nine ek se, the things just grabbed it and ran up the tree!"
