New music sucks

I attribute it to the law that Bill Clinton passed in 1996. Ever since he allowed corporations to rule the airwaves and buy whatever they want, people have been so confused and brainwashed. Everything these days is about conformity. It wasn’t until 9/11 that the stupidity really took off.

Ever since after WW2 there has been so many things that have been passed. When JFK got assassinated the government got the green light to do whatever they wanted.
New music sucks. Nobody wants to listen to this shit.

New music sucks

Starts with the keys
God who says keys?
Anyway, starts with the keys
Here comes that beat
Oh y’know that beat, warm and familiar
Like a dog's farts
Then those claps
You think they’re by real people?
And then the verse
And then I snore
Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Drake and even Macklemore
Justin Bieber, One Direction, Mumford and the shitty Sons, Kesha, Fall Out Boy, Lorde, Miley
Even Bruno Mars
I'm sure he's super talented, well try telling that to my ears
I’m not saying that I think they all should die
I'm just saying that, I'm just saying that
I'm just saying that it makes me want to cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry, cry

New music sucks, new music sucks, it really really sucks
Holy shit it sucks, yes indeed it sucks, I told you that it sucks
New music sucks, fucking don’t you know that it sucks
New music SUCKS

New Age music

An often vague, blanket term used to describe a wide variety of music types. It is usually characterized as instrumental, electronic, and with a penchant for audio experimentation used to achieve an "ethereal" or "contemplative" state. In truth, New Age music has used every musical instrument and technique, and it is difficult to pin any one album or group into the New Age category, and some people are loath to be grouped as New Age listeners, as the term occasionally has pejorative connotations.

The genre has become almost--and perhaps unfairly--synonymous with the "New Age" movement and its focus on the spirit, metaphysical holism and the environment.

The genre itself is relatively young, getting its first real start in the 1960s and '70s with groups like Tangerine Dream, and that band's alumnus Klaus Schulze. Later groups and individuals that some might classify as New Age are Kitaro, Deuter, Mark Isham, Patrick O'Hearn, Clannad, Enya, Ray Lynch, Jean-Michel Jarre, and many others.
1.) "She's such a flake; she listens to that New Age music."

2.) "I love New Age music."

3.) "I'd prefer that you call it 'Progressive' music rather than 'New Age music.'"

flophouse

Any house/apartment/frat house/trailer/etc. which is used for individuals to crash (sleep, chill, hang out, lurk, etc.) for a period of time. In order to "crash", one must not actually live there (e.g. have their name on the lease, own said flophouse, etc.). Flophouses are typically used by college students, drug addicts, transients, vagrants, or other unsavory characters.

A flophouse may also be the home owned by the parents of a college student, who after being away at college, wishes to live as if he/she is still at college (e.g. staying out all night, returning just to crash at mom and dad's house, then leaving again), rather than conforming to the pre-college rules.
Example #1
Dude: (Talking to someone passed out face first on the floor of his college apartment) Hey man, who the hell are you? What do you think this is, a flophouse??

Bro: Sorry dude, I must have passed out for a minute.

Example #2
Mom: Where have you BEEN for the last three days? You come home just to sleep?? What do you think this is, a flophouse??!!

Son: What's your problem? I'm an adult now!

Hate Sink

A person you hate intensely not because they deserve such hatred but because they serve as a focus for your general hatred. A healthy way to dispense with excess animosity.
Jake's not really that big an asshole. He just serves as my hate sink.
