A narrower term for "nitpick," used when the discussion involves Star Trek, Star Wars, Doctor Who, Battlestar Galactica, Tolkien, comic books, etc.

Nerdpick: not only do the above redshirts not die in this episode, one of them ends up getting the girl instead of Kirk.

An overly stuffed backpack nerds bring with them to school and/or the library. Usually filled with nerd items like a laptop, notebook binder, pencils, a few different calculaters, glasses case/cleaner and extra pair of underwear.

A person who is so consumed by Christmas that they turn on their house Christmas lights before Thanksgiving.

It's November 15th and that guy has his Christmas lights turned on already, what a Nerdnick!
