A Mûmak (plural: Mûmakil)(or as hobbits would describe it: Oliphaunt) is an elephant with 6 tusks. The writer J. R. R. Tolkien is the one who created these animals in his books The Lord of the Rings.

A large elephant-like creature that exists in J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle-earth. They are far different from real-life elephants as they're much larger and have four tusks instead of two.

They were often referred to as "Oliphaunts" by the hobbits.
The Mumakil were often used in battle by the Haradrim
