A Mûmak (plural: Mûmakil)(or as hobbits would describe it: Oliphaunt) is an elephant with 6 tusks. The writer J. R. R. Tolkien is the one who created these animals in his books The Lord of the Rings.
Look it's a Mûmakil!
Thats not right! One is called a Mûmak, 2 and more are called Mûmakil!
Whatever, let's just call it an Oliphaunt.
A large elephant-like creature that exists in J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle-earth. They are far different from real-life elephants as they're much larger and have four tusks instead of two.
They were often referred to as "Oliphaunts" by the hobbits.
