Battle of Midway

A battle between American and Japanese forces in the Pacific. Attempts by the Japanese to lure the Americans to Alaska failed as the Americans had cracked the Japanese codes. Resulted in the destruction of the entire Japanese carrier fleet with the loss of only one American carrier and turned the tide in the Pacific War.

The battle of Midway was fought in 1942 between the American and Japanese navies.

Midway

A neighborhood on the southwest side of Chicago composed of the Clearing and Garfield Ridge neighborhoods. Midway is about 50% white and 50% mexican. Pastimes of Midway kids include smoking, dipping, pregaming at "valley," drinking on the tracks, and smoking weed. Sadly, about 75% of the girls of Midway are hoodrats. Although Midway goes from 51st street to 65th street, the die-hard hoodrats will say, "yu aint frum midway unless yu livin between 55thh n 63rdd.!" Even though many suburb ass people say Midway is a ghetto, it's actually a really nice place to live. Often referred to as "mw." If you cross the tracks on 63rd and Harlem, you will enter Summit aka "Scummit," which is infested with hoodrats and amazing mexican restaurants.

Midway Mall

A mall in down town elyria,ohio, it consists of basically about six stores. A flocking area for fake scene kids and hobos to rest before smoking joints and going to 10 dollar chenga shows.

Has a fabulous food court with 5 eateries, Taco bell, 2 Asian eateries, that pizza place no one can pronounce, and Arby's.

Battle of Midway 1942

The Battle of Midway was a decisive naval battle of the Second World War between the United States and Japan, the Midway Atoll, known to the Imperial Japanese Navy as “AF”, was the site of the battle happening on the 4th of June to the 7th of June in 1942 was historically significant as it was the battle which four Japanese carriers, Akagi, Kaga, Sōryū and Hiryū, while the United States only lost one carriers, the Yorktown.

The Battle of Midway 1942 really turned the tide during the Second World War.
