Maskover

A blend of mask and makeover. A maskover is a change in how something looks or feels, where one mask or fake front is replaced by another—often softer, kinder, or more hopeful—but not always a real fix. It’s a surface-level change that covers old problems without fully solving them.
The world needs a maskover — a softer, kinder disguise.

A maskover is swapping one mask for another — maybe better, not perfect.

Sometimes a maskover just covers cracks without fixing them.
