MADtv is a sketch comedy show on FOX. The show started in 1995, and is currently on it's 10th season. It is fast paced, wild and crazy humor, lots of fun and funny cast members.
The cast members write most of their sketches which is very cool. They have reccuring characters, they parodie music vieos, impersonate celebrities, and just fool around with the cast members and stuff!
Shot in Hollywood, CA. Tickets are FREE. Live tapings occur ever other Friday.
The MADtv DVDs some out sometime in September of 2004.
Stuart: Linda? Linda? Linda? Linda? Linnnnndaaaaaaaa... Linda?

Linda: Yes yes, *annoyed sigh* what is it Stuart

Stuart: ...Look what I can do!

(Stuart jumps and dances around)

Linda: You know what, you know what Stuart look what I can do

(Linda jumps around, mocking Stuart)

Linda: See that is not that hard, that is not a good trick!

Stuart: You're ugly

Words you can keep
A show that is OK. It has higher highs than Saturday Night Live but lower lows. SNL is more consistently good. MadTV often likes to parody everything even if the parody doesn't make any sense, thus ruining the joke.
Dude 1: bruh have you seen madtv
Dude 2: yeah its ok

Do I even need to explain? It's just filled with jokes. It's also 10 times better than SNL and the actors are AMAZING! And here's why.

The jokes: The jokes are INCREDIBLE! What's incredible about it, is that they suck bad. The only jokes are the actors themselves. "uH-Oh hAWt DaWG!" Where the hell is the joke? A bean would do a better job at making jokes.

MADtv vs. SNL: MADtv is so trashy, that it's 10 times better than SNL at making unfunny jokes, which is definitely saying something. At least people have heard of SNL.

The actors: The actors are horrible. Bobby Lee, Lisa Arch, Michael McDonald, Stephnie Weir, etc. The worst part is the annoying ass voices they all have. Dot sounds like she has braces on, but also has a speech impediment, Stewart's "goo-goos" haven't dropped, and every sentence he says, sounds like it's coming from an annoying autistic 5-year-old. And Bobby Lee... everything about him... sucks. BAD.

Conclusion: MADtv is awful. If anything, it's a form of torture. If you wanna annoy the fuck out of one of your friends, play MADtv, but I wouldn't wish even my worst enemy to watch a millisecond of MADtv. It's fucking horrible. SOME jokes are funny, but they're nothing more than a "heh" and I can't think of much that I laughed at from that fucking monstrosity. DO NOT, and I mean DO FUCKING NOT, watch MADtv. SNL is WAAAAAAYYYY better and SNL is trash. It's just hell.

The AT&T of sketch shows. Aired from 1995-2009. Unlike other sketch shows- it was not live. Some people liked it others fucking hated it. The cast was mostly comprised of C-list improv actors and stand-ups. The writing mostly sucked but the cast wasn't terrible. Generally the show was either doing okay or sucking donkey dongs.

Despite the name, it had almost no relation to the popular MAD magazine.

Not the worst sketch show in the word (it's Turn-On, wikipedia the show) but is out of SNL's league with 5 season exceptions.

Rotten Tomatoes; 6.0/10 fresh
Joe; Just saw Madtv last week.

Jon; What?
Joe; You know, that sub-par sketch show.

Jon; Yeah, I still have no clue.
Joe; Forget it

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
