lithobraking

Rapid deceleration of a spacecraft or other projectile due to impact, possibly unintentional, with a planetary surface. Compare to aerobraking.

Litos Baker's Dozen

Instead of the regular baker's dozen of 13, this equals 11 based on the rationale that a baker would eat one item from his batch instead of adding an extra one to it.
"When I opened up the box of donuts I thought they forgot to put one in but really they were just giving me an Litos Baker's Dozen. Boy was I pissed!"

Litost [Lee' - toast]

Litost is a nearly untranslatable Czech word, a state of feeling miserable and humiliated. “Litost is a state of torment created by the sudden sight of one’s own misery,” - The Book of Laughter and Forgetting by Milan Kundera. Litost connects insult to revenge, with desire to strike back at the perceived source of one’s shame.
For example: double-litost, double-revenge Tupac Shakur vs. Notorious B.I.G.
