Lifelining 

Verb: To maintain a current relationship when one or both parties moves away (i e college) and one or both parties only intends to stay in said relationship if when they arrive at their new location the dating options are terrible/nonexistent. This is considered a underhanded and dishonest act.
I got back to my dorm and my roommate was losing his shit because his girlfriend just dumped him. She was insistent that they shouldn't break up after high school and do long distance. The evil bitch was just lifelining him til she saw how much available dick there was at her new school. She then dropped him like a hot brick.

A term used to explain the times when you girlfriend or wife continues to talk to you about a "important" issue you really don't give a shit about.
Friend 1: "I was so pissed last night man, she was just lifetiming the fuck out of me after work!"
