a general term for any ERS (ellipsoidal reflector spotlight), (eg. source four) with shutters, accessory slot, gobo slot, and adjustable/changeable barrel. Leko refers to the Lekolite released in 1933 that became extremely popular, and while the actual lights bearing the brand name Leko have become less common, the term has stuck for all ERS instruments.
